I purchased 2 of these grill covers as I have a grill and had just purchased another grill for my son. These covers are a great addition to owning the grill.

I bought 2 of these covers from Amazon, one for my Weber 220 and another for the Baby Q. Both excellent grills. The covers are heavy enough to be durable for years and should be easy to clean when needed. There’s a drawstring adjustment on the front and back to make a good fit. Very satisfied with the purchase, and price.

I’ve used this cover for over a year now…..100% outside use. Very sturdy, has retained its shape and color. No sun fade, did not become cracked as other name brand covers have done in the past.

5 Stars Exactly what I was looking for!!
We have a very small patio attached to our condo, so a small grill was needed; thus, we bought the Weber Q200. For the grill we also purchased the Weber Q series stationary cart and this cover. The whole system, put together, makes this portable grill into look just like all the other grills, only it takes up much less space. The whole Weber Q series is highly recommended if you also are space limited and would like a grill of your own. Due to being portable, it is also perfect for taking on camping trips when detached from the stationary cart. Now we can cook steaks, burgers, and kabobs on our 5×8 patio and still have room for seating!

5 Stars Well Made and Worth the Cost
I’m on my third year with this cover, and it’s as good as new. It’s built with sturdy material that will practically stand on it’s own, and it’s well constructed. I expect it will last indefinitely. Much better than common grill covers and well worth the money.

5 Stars Medium sized and well suited for 2 to 4 persons
I didn’t want a mega-grill with all the bells and whistles. I simply wanted to be able to throw on a few steaks or grill some ribs for 4 persons. This grill is perfect for the above. I got the red one and it looks great on my patio. The flame follows the shape of the grill and is oblong in shape. You can either grill above the fire or in the center with no direct flame. There are areas of the grilling surface so that you can cook smaller items such as onions without them falling into the flame.

Overall, I am very happy with my weber. We looked at some of the others on the market, but I think we chose the right one.

Even though I live in California and we don’t have much of seasons.. It’s a great product, thick, well made, fits perfect on our 22 inch Old Smokey Grill, and basically does it’s job.

I purchased this cover for my Weber Q, I don’t know what the product # is, but the cover doesn’t fit mine. It’s way too small. I’m giving it to my son for his BABY Q.

Needless to say, I was very disappointed. Now I have to buy another for my grill.

5 Stars Works for us
We have our little grill on the picnic table with the fuel container on the ground underneath. Between uses we have been putting the cover over the grill, and so far it is doing a good job. We have only had it for about a month, so we don’t know how well it will hold up. It seems sturdy, however.

3 Stars Too small for my needs
This is well-made and fits tightly over the grill. This grill cover would be perfect if you were using the small tank and taking your grill to the beach or for tailagting.

But I leave my grill on the stand with the big tank connected to it 99.9% of the time so my need is to protect the stand and the gas tank too, not just the grill. This cover obviously won’t do that so I went to Home Depot and bought a generic grill cover that does the trick.

The advantage of cast is that it keeps the heat better than cheaper grills, for that perfect sear. The porcelain coating means these grates do not need to be seasoned as with regular cast iron grates.

5 Stars A Must Have Upgrade for your Weber
This is simply the best upgrade you can add to your Weber. With the amount of grilling I do, I quickly wore out the standard enameled steel grates. They were easy to maintain, but they are too light to hold the heat and began to disintegrate. So I replaced them with Weber cast iron grates. These grates produce beautiful grill marks on your food and really hold the heat. But even with proper seasoning and the best upkeep, they are difficult to maintain. I found that they would start to rust just from humidity and rain or from lack of use. Enter Weber’s enamelized cast iron grates–the best of both worlds. They are incredibly heavy, hold the heat and provide even cooking, produce great grill marks, but are virtually maintenance free. Just crank up the grill to high when you’re done and brush them down. No seasoning or oiling necessary. After going through the first two sets of grates over 4 years, I’ve had these for 5 years now, and they are in the same condition today as when I bought them.

I ordered a porcelin covered heavy duty grill, but recieved the heavy duty grill that is non-porcelin covered.

5 Stars Excellent Replacement Grates
The original ceramic coated steel grates were wearing out, so I bought these as replacements. This is a case of the replacement parts being better than the original equipment. They hold the heat better, which means the meat sears better and the food cooks faster.

5 Stars A must have item
A leading cooking publication explained the benefits of having a cast iron grill and, in a nutshell, it’s all about heat retention.

Recently, I had the misfortune of having the original steel grates on my Weber completely rust through and decided there had to be a better alternative. After a little research, I found that stainless steel replacements were readily available and was going to go with them. As I was doing my research on Amazon, I saw that there were cast iron units also available and decided to research a little further. What I learned was that it takes a temperature of around 300 degrees to brown meat and that cooking drops the temperture of the grates rapidly. For stainless steel, it took about 15 minutes to preheat a grill to 500 degrees. Once the meat was added, it took only 2 minutes for the grate temperature to drop down to 300 degrees. With the cast iron, preheat time increased to 21 minutes, but the grates stayed above 300 degrees for over five minutes. In my own experience with the cast iron, the extra time made a huge difference in how well the grill cooked both burgers and steaks, adding nice grill marks and enhanced flavor.

Cast iron will eventually rust, but these grates are heavy and are enameled so I think they will last alot longer than the original steel, even stainless will degrade over time. You should always preheat your grill and these cast iron grates will make a difference.
