I bought 2 of these covers from Amazon, one for my Weber 220 and another for the Baby Q. Both excellent grills. The covers are heavy enough to be durable for years and should be easy to clean when needed. There’s a drawstring adjustment on the front and back to make a good fit. Very satisfied with the purchase, and price.

I’ve used this cover for over a year now…..100% outside use. Very sturdy, has retained its shape and color. No sun fade, did not become cracked as other name brand covers have done in the past.

I ordered this as a Xmas gift for my Dad who BBQ’s a lot. It dosent look like much but Iam sure its helpful when grilling. I wish I would have ordered 2 since it seemed kind of chincy to just give one. I thought for some reason it would be more elabrate. 5 Stars EASY GRILLING….GREAT RIBS!
This rack works well. Using indirect heat, a drip pan with a little water in it to catch the grease and create a little moisture and you are set to go! The rack holds more than you think it will hold. Can be used for chicken breasts, quarters, etc. also. I spray my racks with a little olive oil before I put everything on the grill…this helps with the clean up….makes that job allot easier.

Weber 6406 Rib RackIf you are looking for a rib rack for your grill… look no further. Weber made a nice ‘n’ wide rib rack that can accomodate plenty of ribs or chicken-quarters. Easy to clean as well!

2 Stars not great for grilling and tough to clean
Chicken grilled in this rack comes out soggy — much like steamed chicken – and is not the crisp grilled chicken you were hoping for.

Besides, it’s impossible to clean. At least I haven’t figured out how to do it without damaging the rack or my patience.

i moved to a condo with a balcony on which charcoal and gas grills are prohibited, but electric grills are permitted. after years of pleasure with my meco charcoal grill, i was prepared to be let down because electric could never be as good.

i am as happy with this electric grill as i was with my charcoal grill. actually, i am as happy with the grilled food as i was before; it’s the outcome which counts more than the process.

there’s nothing more i could ask for.

4 Stars Meco Electric Grill is HEALTHY, but…!
I’m “REALLY!” in to a healthier lifestyle, and subscribe to “several” respected health e-zines.

1. 15+ years ago I read tests that charcoal BBQ’s, really put “LOTS” of very bad carciniogens into your meat!

2. So I went to a gas BBQ. Not as good tasting as charcoal, but “SUPPOSEDLY” healthier?

NOT!- Now I read tests that gas BBQ’s are little healthier than charcoal. The “deadly” carciniogens are in the drippings smoke- coming from the hot lava rocks below!

3. So I now go to the MECO electric grill.

Pros-

a. Healthier- as virtually no smoke (grill/elements are steeply slanted, and drippings collect in a handy pan under the grill).

b. No having to mess with expensive propane gas…

c. Well made, and sturdy.

d. Low fire danger- Acceptable for most apartment complexes. ASK!

e. Sears steaks well (preheat on high for 15+ min, and close lid FAST! Requires a “Heavy Duty” electric outlet!). Cooks just as fast (or faster) than gas. BUT, “NO!” BBQ taste! You will probably need a marinade…

Good “web search” recipe I found for steaks…-

I pre-mix & rub in, a blend of-

salt (“AlsoSalt”- is very healthy and GOOD tasting!), black pepper, chili powder (all in equal parts…), and a little cayenne pepper. You can also add any other seasonings you like, to taste…

PAM makes a “High Temp” cooking spray, for the grill.

This is a very good product, it is a replacement part for this grill. I have found from experience that the original parts that came with this grill last longer than the replacement parts. That is why I didn’t give it a higher rating.

5 Stars like new performance
After 10 years the old Weber seemed ready for barby heaven, but I decided to look into replacing the guts. Pulled everything out, seriously cleaned the box, and installed new guts including these bars. Works like it did new and only cost about $100 for flavorizer bars, burner tubes, cooking grates, and igniter. I’m not handy AT ALL, but it was easy. Needed a philips screwdriver, and a 7/16′s nut driver wasn’t necessary but did come in handy. Took about an hour – somebody good at this stuff could do it in 20 or 30 minutes.

Several years ago I purchased the smallest gas grill that Weber offered. I was torn at the time between buying a small quality grill or a larger cheaper one. I have no regrets in choosing Weber. Although the grill I purchased (Genesis Silver A) is no longer available, Weber still makes parts for it. It took me less than one minute to change the rusted out flavour enhancing bars with the replacements. Bravo Weber!

My Weber grill is coming up on 6 years old and the flavorizer bars were disintegrating so I decided to look for replacements. These are exactly the same as the originals – and half the price listed on Weber’s site. I gave the cooking grate and grill a good cleaning and it is like I have a new grill – I am thrilled!! My brother had gotten the stainless steel grates for his Weber so that may be my next purchase in the spring! Can not go wrong with these bars – just be sure you get the correct ones for your model grill – doing my research, I noticed that there were different sizes.

4 Stars Good but stainless is better
I had these flavorizer bars for years on a Weber. Since 2002 I have gone through two sets. Both times they ended up disintegrating. These work well in helping to reduce flare ups, adding the creation of smoke from dripping juices to add more flavor, and help protect your burners from getting clogged up. The only downside is that the porcelain coating comes off after a few years which will lead to massive rust problems and you will need to replace them.

Tired of that I finally upgraded to the stainless bars which perform just as well but they don’t rust. Save yourself a few bucks later by spending a little more if you can afford spending the extra $10-$15 on the stainless bars.

I purchased this cover for my Weber Q, I don’t know what the product # is, but the cover doesn’t fit mine. It’s way too small. I’m giving it to my son for his BABY Q.

Needless to say, I was very disappointed. Now I have to buy another for my grill.

5 Stars Works for us
We have our little grill on the picnic table with the fuel container on the ground underneath. Between uses we have been putting the cover over the grill, and so far it is doing a good job. We have only had it for about a month, so we don’t know how well it will hold up. It seems sturdy, however.

3 Stars Too small for my needs
This is well-made and fits tightly over the grill. This grill cover would be perfect if you were using the small tank and taking your grill to the beach or for tailagting.

But I leave my grill on the stand with the big tank connected to it 99.9% of the time so my need is to protect the stand and the gas tank too, not just the grill. This cover obviously won’t do that so I went to Home Depot and bought a generic grill cover that does the trick.
