5 Stars great groomsmen gift!
I bought 5 of these kits for all of my groomsmen, and I have to say that they are quite a bargain. The case is nice, but if it were me I probably wouldn’t keep everything in it. A couple of the cases seemed to not want to close all the way. But if you’re buying this, you’re probably more interested in the tools themselves.

And to that end, the tools are immaculate. All the knives are very sharp and sturdy. I highly recommend this item, whether you use it for yourself or as a gift. I’m going to be buying my own soon too.

Gave this grill as a Christmas present and the top melted upon first use. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

3 Stars Its ok, but a little pricey for the quality
Its a nice novelty grill. But its not real high quality. Mine fell off a cart about 6″ and the plastic handle broke into 6 pieces. Grill is a little flimsy too. It works ok. Its not terrible and does an adequate job of grilling, but you can get better for less $$.

Its a charcoal grill shaped like a football. Pretty simple. It works as well as any other grill.

5 Stars Excellent fit
I have one of the original Portable Kitchens made in the 1950′s. I purchased it at a garage sale in 1980 and have used it regularly since then. This is the second set of grid and gate that I have purchased. It fits perfectly into my old Portable Kitchen. Both the grid and grate are high quality units and have extended the life of this approximately 50 year old Portable Kitchen yet another few years. This time I also purchased a cover for the Portable Kitchen which will make this set last even longer than before.

2 Stars Portable Kitchen replacement grid and grate
The grate fits and works nicely. The Hinged Cooking Grid did not fit inside the grill the way it should have, and prevented the lid from closing properly. I had to take a bolt cutter to it to make it fit better. Now it doesn’t look like a professionally fitted grate.

3 Stars Cooking Grid Doesn’t Fit My Cooker
I realize that PK has made several different models since I bought mine in 1965 but be aware that the cooking grid does not fit all the older models. I could find no model number on my casting, so took a chance and it didn’t fit. I used a bolt cutter to modify it slightly and it works acceptably now. The charcoal grate fit perfectly. Too much hassle to return it.
