Whether it’s a roast for a dinner party or a turkey for the holidays, this digital cooking thermometer ensures meat gets cooked to perfection. It provides two probes, which make it possible to cook and grill different types of meat–or monitor two levels of doneness–at the same time. Simply insert the probe into the meat, run the wire out of the barbeque or oven, close the lid or oven door, and attach the probe to the base unit. The programmable thermometer offers 10 meat settings and four doneness settings, ranging from rare to well done. The unit’s large LCD screen displays the inner temperature of food during cooking, and an alarm will sound after it reaches the desired temperature.
